Rain Postpones Nuts/Hot Rods Finale

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The scheduled Sunday afternoon series finale between the Lansing Lugnuts (13-10) and Bowling Green Hot Rods (10-12) was postponed due to rain at Bowling Green Ballpark.

It has yet to be determined when the game will be made up.

The Lugnuts, who won the first three games of the series, return to Lansing on Tuesday, May 2nd, opening a six-game homestand with a Dollar Deal Day: $1 hot dogs, $1 ice cream sandwiches and $1 fountain drinks. First pitch between the Lugnuts and Peoria Chiefs is set for 7:05 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m. Right-hander Mike Ellenbest (0-2, 8.10) starts for Lansing, opposed by Chiefs right-hander Jordan Hicks (3-0, 2.42).
