Winston-Salem Dash News Release

Winston-Salem, NC - The series finale between Winston-Salem and Salem on Thursday night at Wake Forest Baseball Park was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the Red Sox return to Winston-Salem for a three-game series on September 1-3. It will be the final regular season home series for the Dash, who will host the first two games of the Southern Divisional playoffs at Wake Forest Baseball Park on September 9 and 10. Tickets to tonight's postponed contest can be redeemed for any future Dash home game at Wake Forest Baseball Park based on availability.

The Dash continues their home stand over the weekend as they welcome the Lynchburg Hillcats to Wake Forest Baseball Park for a three-game series beginning on Friday night. Winston-Salem will send LHP Justin Edward (2-0, 4.50) to the mound, while Lynchburg will counter with RHP Matt McSwain (7-4, 3.07). The first pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Dash have introduced a new three-game champion plan. This is the only way to get the best seats for the playoffs before they go on sale to the general public. The three-game champion plan includes our three remaining fireworks games on July 24th, August 7th and September 3rd. Each plan comes with a FREE souvenir Dash hat. Purchase your three-game plan by July 17th and receive a FREE playoff ticket to the first playoff game in Dash history on September 9th. Single-game tickets can be purchased online at www.wsdash.com or by calling the Dash office at (336) 714-2287.
