
Rain and Fog Suspends Thursday Game in New Jersey

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Champions and New Jersey Jackals will not finish their game scheduled for May 31 due to inclement weather. A doubleheader will be played next time the two teams meet in Little Falls, which is scheduled for July 5.
The game was suspended in the bottom of the third inning, with New Jersey scoring 10 runs in the aforementioned third to take a 12-1 lead into the suspension. When the game resumes, Ottawa will begin on defence with two outs in the inning and the bases empty.
With Friday night representing the first game of the weekend home series against the Sussex County Miners, Coors Light Night will kick off the homestand at RCGT Park. Hang out in the Coors Light Fan Zone down the first base line, and take advantage of $5 Coors Light all night long!
