Rockland 2, Quebec 1

Left fielder Kevin Krause singled home C Aaron Wilson with the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning as Rockland defeated Quebec, 2-1. The Boulders jumped out in front 1-0 in the top of the third as 3B Cody Regis scored on an RBI single by 1B Conrad Gregor. The Capitales responded with a run in the bottom of the frame as 2B Yordan Manduley singled home LF Edgar Lebron from third base. The score remained tied at 1-1 until the seventh when Wilson scored on the Krause hit to give Rockland the 2-1 advantage. Quebec would never score again after that as the Boulders notched their fifth win of the season.

Regis went 2-for-3 with a run scored while leadoff hitter JC Rodriguez added a pair of hits in four at-bats. Rockland pitcher Marc Huberman tossed 3 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to earn his second victory of the season. Huberman gave up four hits and struck out a batter.

New Jersey 12, Ottawa 1 (Bottom 3 - Suspended/Rain)

The game between Ottawa and New Jersey was suspended due to rain with the Jackals leading 12-1 in the bottom of the third inning. The contest will be completed on Thursday, July 5. The regularly scheduled game will follow the completion of the suspended game and be seven innings in length.
