Rain Again Gets The Best Of Express, Cubs

DES MOINES, Iowa - For the second time in three days, persistent rains in central Iowa have forced the postponement of a game between the Round Rock Express and the Iowa Cubs. Monday's scheduled doubleheader has been rescheduled for a doubleheader Tuesday at 11 a.m. CDT at Principal Park.
The Express and Cubs will play two seven-inning games Tuesday with a 4 p.m. curfew due to Round Rock's travel plans. The series was scheduled to begin Saturday night, but that game was postponed due to rain and was to be played as part of Monday's doubleheader. Round Rock won Sunday's game 5-1. Due to the rainouts, the four-game series will be shortened to three games; the fourth game will be made up later in the season.
Tuesday's doubleheader will be broadcast on 1530 AM with no online audio.
