Cary, NC (Sunday, May 18th, 2007) - The Carolina RailHawks tied the Minnesota Thunder 0 - 0 on Sunday night at WakeMed Soccer Park after the match was delayed an hour due to severe thunderstorms in the area. The RailHawks came close to scoring numerous times outshooting the Thunder 10 - 4 . Midfielder Matt Watson tallied three great shots including a phenomenal header in the 33rd minute that was saved on the line by a Minnesota defender.
Next Weekend the RailHawks organization will make history again by hosting the first of two W-league/USL-1 doubleheaders this season. On Saturday May 24th the RailHawks Women will host the Carolina Dynamo at 4:00 PM and the RailHawks men will host their arch rivals from New York, the Rochester Rhinos at 7:30 PM at WakeMed Soccer Park.
