
RailHawks Tie Rhinos 1-1

North Carolina FC News Release
The Carolina Railhawks tied the Rochester Rhinos 1-1 on Saturday night in the second match of the Inaugural Memorial Day RailHawks Doubleheader. The Railhawks controlled most of the match and Martin Nuñez scored the Railhawks goal in the 14th minute. The RailHawks continued to attack and had plenty of scoring chances keeping the 4,500 plus fans on the edge of their seats but the Rhinos were able to score late in the game with Mauricio Salles in the 89th minute. Earlier in the day the Carolina RailHawks Women tied the Caroina Dynamo 1-1 with goals by UNC defender Betsy Frederick and the Dynamo's Taylor Rovito
Next the Carolina Railhawks Men's Professional team will host the 2007 USL-1 Champion Seattle Sounders on Wednesday, May 28th at 7:30 PM at WakeMed Soccer Park. The RailHawks Women host the IMG Bradenton Athletics on Friday June 6th at 7:30 PM at WakeMed Soccer Park.
