Carolina RailHawks tie Carolina Dynamo 1-1

North Carolina FC News Release


Cary, NC - The Caroina RailHawks Women tied the Carolina Dynamo 1-1 on Saturday afternoon in the first match of the Inaugural Memorial Day RailHawks Doubleheader. UNC defender Betsy Frederick put the RailHawks on top with a beautiful direct kick in the top right corner from 35 yards out in the 35th minute. The Dynamo tied it up in the second half with a goal by Taylor Rovito. The second match of the doubleheader between the Carolina RailHawks USL-1 Men's Professional Team and the Rochester Rhinos.

Next the Carolina Railhawks Men's Professional team will host the 2007 USL-1 Champion Seattle Sounders on Wednesday, May 28th at 7:30 PM at WakeMed Soccer Park. The RailHawks Women host the IMG Bradenton Athletics on Friday June 6th at 7:30 PM at WakeMed Soccer Park.
