Cary, NC (April 24, 2015) - The Carolina RailHawks announced today that they have signed striker Bradlee Baladez for the remainder of the 2015 season.

The 23-year-old joins the RailHawks from Arizona United (USL Pro), and will look to help provide the RailHawks with some more attacking options up top as the 2015 Spring Season continues on.

"Bradlee is a young and talented player who earned a spot in the RailHawks," said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke. "He is a fantastic striker and I am confident he will bring new qualities to the team."

Baladez played with FC Dallas' academy and helped them reach the USSF Academy League Regional Finals in 2009 and the USSF Academy League National Finals in 2010.

He continued his playing career with the University of South Carolina and scored a total of 17 goals and obtained eight assists during his three seasons with the Gamecocks.

Baladez signed his first professional contract by joining FC Dallas in 2012 on a homegrown contract and made one appearance for the Texas side back in July 2013. He was loaned out to Fort Lauderdale Strikers in August of that same year and went on to score four goals in just 270 minutes of playing time. He went back to Dallas and logged 556 minutes of playing time for the FC Dallas Reserve Squad.

The RailHawks roster is now comprised of 21 players: two goalkeepers (Hunter Gilstrap and Brian Sylvestre), six defenders (Connor Tobin, Daniel Scott, Kupono Low, Mamadou Danso, Wes Knight and Blake Wagner), eight midfielders (Nazmi Albadawi, Tiyi Shipalane, Leo Osaki, Neil Hlavaty, Mark Anderson, Austin Da Luz, Chris Nurse, and Jack Coleman) and five forwards (Nacho Novo, Simone Bracalello, Wells Thompson, Mamadee Nyepon, and Bradlee Baladez).

The Carolina RailHawks will continue the 2015 Spring Season with the addition of Baladez and will travel to Indianapolis for the fourth game of the Spring Season to take on Indy Eleven on Saturday, April 25th at 7:30 pm ET. The match will be broadcast live on WRAL2.

The RailHawks will play their next home match against Tampa Bay Rowdies FC on Saturday, May 2nd at 7:30pm. The full RailHawks home schedule can be viewed here .
