
RailHawks End Vancouver Whitecaps 16 Game Streak

The Carolina RailHawks played the second match of their three game west coast trip on Friday night against the undefeated Vancouver Whitecaps at Swanguard Stadium in Vancouver.
Carolina Head Coach Scott Schweitzer was looking to end the 16 game winning streak of the Canadian side and earn three precious points on the road after losing to Seattle last Wednesday.
The final score was 1-0 in favor of the RailHawks as Connally Edozien was able to capitalize on a breakaway in the 57th minute and put one in the back of the net. Next the Carolina RailHawks travel to Portland on Sunday. They will face the Portland Timbers on the third and final match of this road trip, looking to come home with a total of six points. The RailHawks return home on Friday June 8th as they host the Rochester Rhinos at SAS Soccer Park in Cary at 7:30 PM.
