
RailHawks Breeze Through Lamar Hunt US Open Cup 1st Round

North Carolina FC News Release
The Carolina RailHawks entered the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with a bang scoring four goals in front of a crowd of 3,062 fans at SAS Soccer Park in Cary Tuesday night. The final score was 4-1 for the Carolina RailHawks. The game was mostly a one sided affair with the RailHawks dominating the play on the field. RWB Adria was able to score a lone goal in the 76th minute by Carlos Carrillo. RWB ended two men down when two players were ejected in the 71st and the 89th minute.
The RailHawks will now face the winner of the Bavarian SC - Cincinnati Kings match on June 26th at SAS Soccer Park in Cary for the second round of the U.S. Open Cup.
The next regular season match is Friday June 15th at 8:00 PM, when the Carolina RailHawks will host the Seattle Sounders.
