Cary, N.C. (Thursday, September 2, 2010) - The Carolina RailHawks begin a busy two-game weekend on Friday night as they host Crystal Palace Baltimore at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. The match is set for 7 p.m. and tickets ($10, $15 and $20 +$2 day of game) are available at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-5425 or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com

"A win tomorrow puts us very close to the playoffs," said RailHawks coach Martin Rennie. "That is what we are aiming for. It should be a good contest tomorrow."

It's College Night again and significant discounts are available at the LGFCU Box Office by showing your student ID. It is also Dollar Beer Night and all draft beer is only $1.

This is the third meeting between Crystal Palace and the RailHawks. In the last game, Baltimore bested the RailHawks 2-1 in Maryland. Matt Watson tallied the lone goal for the RailHawks. Crystal Palace Baltimore added a little firepower this week with forward Adrian Bumbut and midfielder Alan Sanchez.

The RailHawks look to turn around their fortunes this week after a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to the Puerto Rico Islanders last Saturday. Daniel Paladini's brace was not enough for the RailHawks to come away with a positive result. The RailHawks have made some moves before the roster freeze and are adding forward Tom Heinemann, who is fresh off scoring seven goals and five assists on his way to winning the USL-2 championship with the Charleston Battery, and former Chicago Fire defender Daniel Woolard. Both are expected to be available for the match on Friday.

Only two days later the RailHawks host Pumas Morelos of Mexico on Sunday, September 5 at 6 p.m. Mexican Legend Claudio Suarez is set to play for the RailHawks. Suarez is the most capped international field player ever to play the game. He has also played in three World Cups for Mexico, USA '94, France '98 and Germany, 06. Tickets for this match are only $15 and are available at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-5425 or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com.
