RailCats to Air on WEFM 95.9

GARY, IN - The Gary South Shore RailCats, the defending American Association Champions and WEFM of Michigan City, Indiana have reached an agreement for the radio broadcast of RailCats Baseball for the 2014 season.
"WEFM was pleased to be affiliated with the Railcats in the past and going forward, to continuing our excellent relationship. WEFM is excited to renew our affiliation with the Railcats and we look forward to another outstanding season," said Ron Miller Station Manager for the Michigan City station.
In addition to the games aired on 95.9 FM the RailCats will present all games on the clubs website as well as the smart phone app for fans to follow the action creating the RailCats radio network.
"The RailCats are excited to be reuniting with WEFM in 2014. Our new flagship station is at the top level in the region when it comes to sports programming. With new play-by-play man Dan Vaughan, we look forward to bringing RailCats fans a top quality broadcast and another winning season!," stated Pete Lavin President Salvi Sports Enterprises and General Manage r of the RailCats
Dan Vaughan returns for his second season with Gary after spending last season in the booth as the clubs broadcast assistant. Vaughan assumes the lead role for the RailCats in 2014 and brings 13 seasons of professional baseball and over 20 years in radio to the RailCats. "We look forward to a great partnership and I am excited about the expanded pre and post-game show a new addition this season. Ron (Miller) and his team are first class and will really have us sounding top notch," added Vaughan.
The RailCats go on the air May 15th at St. Paul at 7:05 p.m.with the home opener set for May 22nd when the RailCats host Witchita for opening day 2014 at 7:10 p.m. For tickets call 219-882-2255 or visit www.railcatsbaseball.com .
