
RailCats postponed in Kansas City

Kansas City, Kansas -The Gary SouthShore RailCats and Kansas City T-Bones were postponed due to rain on Sunday evening in Kansas City. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on either Friday or Saturday in Gary. An announcement will be made within the next couple of days regarding the make-up date.
The RailCats are two and one-half games behind Kansas City with eight games to play in the Northern League regular season. They are two games behind second place Joliet, which lost on Sunday against Schaumburg as the Flyers snapped a 14 game losing streak.
Four of the RailCats final eight games will be against Kansas City with the other four against Schaumburg. All eight remaining games for the RailCats will be played at home.
The RailCats host Schaumburg on Monday at 7:05 p.m. Josh Habel (7-8, 4.81) will start for Gary. The series will continue Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with all games at 7:05 p.m.
