GARY, Ind. - The Gary SouthShore RailCats return home to beautiful U. S. Steel Yard to host a three-game series with important playoff implications versus the Winnipeg Goldeyes starting Monday, August 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now by calling 219.882.2255 or by visiting www.railcatsbaseball.com.
DOLLAR MONDAY/INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE/CHAMBER NIGHT: MONDAY, AUGUST 2 @ 7 P.M. - On Dollar Mondays all summer long, get $1 hot dogs, popcorn, pop, programs, merchandise and more throughout the park. Remember when you buy one full-price ticket, the second will cost you just One Dollar! Come celebrate Indiana Dunes Night as members of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore will be on hand passing on tote bags to the first 500 fans entering the gates at U. S. Steel Yard. The RailCats invite you to come support your local Chamber of Commerce on this night by giving back a portion of the ticket price to earn money for the Chamber.
LAKESHORE KIDS IMMUNIZATION FAIR/PICTURE PACK GIVEAWAY/PORTAGE COMMUNITY/TUESDAY KIDS DAY: TUESDAY, AUGUST 3 @ 6 P.M. - Before the start of the school year, the RailCats and Lakeshore Public Television invite families to The Steel Yard for free immunizations and health screenings during the day. Afterwards, fans are invited to stick around for the RailCats game, with special discounts available to immunization fair attendees. The 'Cats will be handing out Picture Packs to the first 1,000 fans entering the ballpark sponsored by Great Lakes Orthopedics. RailCats in the July 27 edition include: Willie Glen, Tanner Townsend and Yuki Matsumoto and be sure to get to the stadium early for your chance at autographs! In addition, Portage residents with a valid ID can purchase tickets at a $2 discount at the box office on the day of the game.

Steel Yard will receive a Jonathan Toews Poster and don't miss a special appearance by Hockey Hall of Famer and Chicago Blackhawks Ambassador Denis Savard, who will be on hand to greet fans, sign autographs and throw out a Ceremonial First Pitch!
