Gary, Ind. - The 2005 Northern League Champion Gary SouthShore RailCats today acquired first baseman Brad Vericker and conditional future considerations from the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in exchange for pitchers Mark Michael and Brandon Harmsen.

The RailCats also made several other roster moves to trim to the Northern League limit of 22 players.
