Raiders sign Three to WHL Contracts

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders are pleased to announce that 16 year-old goaltender Jacob Edwards, 16 year-old left winger Brent Martin and 17 year-old centre Robbie Ciolfi have all signed standard Western Hockey League education contracts with the team.

Edwards, from Calgary, Alberta, was the Raiders 6th round selection, 116th overall in the 2007 WHL Bantam draft.

Martin from Spruce Grove and Ciolfi from Lethbridge, were both acquired by the Raiders from the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the 2008 WHL trading deadline from the Lethbridge Hurricanes, along with a draft pick, in exchange for defenceman Jeff May.

All three players remain on the Raiders Training Camp Roster as they prepare to take part in the Ice Breaker Tournament this weekend in Saskatoon. The Raiders play the Hurricanes Saturday at 1:00 PM and the Saskatoon Blades Sunday at 7:30 PM at Credit Union Centre.
