Prince Albert Raiders News Release
Prince Albert, Sask. - The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce the signing of 2006-born forward Grady Martin to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
Martin, from Oyen, Alta., was picked 32nd overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft held earlier in December.
"We are very excited to add Grady to our forward group," said Raiders Director of Player Personnel Bruno Zarrillo. "He plays the game with an edge. He has a very good understanding of the game with a very good hockey sense. He also has very good hands to compliment his size."
Listed at 6'3 and 165 lbs, Martin has five goals and eight points in 24 games with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Alberta Elite Hockey League U18 AAA division.
Martin is the third player to sign his WHL Standard Player Agreement from the Raiders' 2021 WHL Prospect Draft class, joining forward Cole Peardon and defenceman Seth Tansem.
The Raiders return from the holiday break on Monday, December 27 when they take on the Blades at the Art Hauser Centre. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Raiders Office during working hours and at SaskTix.ca any time.
