
Raiders Make Roster Moves

Prince Albert Raiders News Release
Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Prince Albert Raiders General Manager and Head Coach Bruno Campese announces that three 20 year - old players from their Western Hockey League roster have gone through league waivers. Centre Bryce Lamb and goaltender Matt Esposito cleared waivers while defenceman Garrett Thiessen was claimed by the Edmonton Oil Kings. Lamb, from Killarney, Manitoba, has played the past three seasons with the Raiders with WHL totals of 171 games played, 19 goals, 31 assists and 112 penalty minutes. He was selected the team's top defensive forward all three seasons. It is expected Lamb will join the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior League. Esposito was acquired from the Chilliwack Bruins as part of a trade that saw Andy Smith go to Chilliwack this past season. Esposito did not appear in any games with the Raiders. Thiessen was acquired by the Raiders from the Prince George Cougars early in the 08-09 season. He appeared in 67 games with 9 assists and 123 PIMs.
