The Prospera Centre's 4th annual Open House will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2009 from 11AM until 3PM. Last year's Open House was a HUGE success, and this year's Open House is looking even better! We have many activities planned for the Community of Chilliwack to enjoy. This event is intended as a community celebration day and is FREE for the whole family. We will be having a barbecue, ice skating, face painting, a bouncy house, floor hockey with The Bruins, Chilliwack Bruins side walk sale outside The Cave, as well as entertainment throughout the day from community groups including Chilliwack Senior Secondary's steel drum band, Pandora. And for the young (and the young at heart), we are pleased to announce that Rosie Ribbonstar will be performing 2 shows at the Open House. We will also be having a community bazaar area where different organizations will be given the opportunity to set up a table and let the Community of Chilliwack know what their organization is about.
We will also be having a number of draws for people attending the Open House to enter and win. . So far, for this year's Open House, we have gathered prizes including "Free Programs for 1 Year", a 1 Night Stay at the Harrison Hotel Package which includes breakfast, dinner for 2 in the Copper Room and a massage for 2 in the Healing Springs Spa, and a "Summer of Fun" gift basket (miniature golf passes, gift certificates for restaurants including Jackson's and Evangeline's, ice cream passes, etc). As well we will also be giving away a one free night stay at the new Coast Hotel in Chilliwack. Come on down to the Prospera Centre and leave your wallet at home!
