Rage Report: Wolverines Are Back at the Ben

The Anchorage Wolverines play the Kenai River Brown Bears this upcoming weekend for the Wolverines' first two home games of 2023. The pair of games mark the seventh and eighth time this season that Anchorage plays against the Brown Bears, with the Wolverines currently holding a record of 3-1-2 against Kenai River in the 2022-23 regular season. Wolverines Assistant Captain Aiden Westin Commits to the University of Alaska, Anchorage

The Anchorage Wolverines Assistant Captain Aiden Westin will be staying in his hometown for his college hockey career, committing to the University of Alaska, Anchorage beginning in the 2023-24 season. On the decision, Westin shares "Nothing beats the opportunity to play at home in front of family friends and fans. Playing in my hometown the past 2 seasons has been the best experience of my life and I'd like to continue to do so in the next stage of my career." For the full article click here.

Thanks to a generous donation from Wolverines Billets Amanda Johnson and Steve Leonard, the Wolverines players are returning to the Ben with a brand new locker room. The Anchorage Wolverines organization is forever grateful for the support of Amanda & Steve!

The locker rooms is one of the two major improvements made to the Ben over the holiday break. Stay tuned for our next unveiling coming in next week's Rage Report.

2023 Top Prospects Tournament

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) will announce the 2023 Top Prospects roster this Thursday, January 19th. This year, The Anchorage Wolverines will select one player to represent the team at the tournament. For the full press release click here
