RiverCity Rage News Release

St. Charles, MO - The RiverCity Rage will host the Billings Outlaws in their regular season finale this Saturday, June 14th at the Family Arena. The gates open at 6:00 for the 7:00 kickoff. Get there early as the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Rage souvenir cup courtesy of Cottman Transmission. The Rage will also be celebrating Father's Day as each dad will receive a free ticket with the purchase of any other ticket to the game.

This will mark the first meeting between the two teams this season. Billings defeated the Rage in both meetings last season. With their win last week, the Rage have clinched home field advantage for their first round playoff match up against the Sioux City Bandits next Saturday night. Though the outcome of this weekend's game is inconsequential for the Rage, their head coach, Ken Stills, is preparing his players to win.

"Obviously we want to win this game," said Stills. "It would be great to end the regular season with a four-game winning streak. We aren't even talking about the playoffs in the locker room. This is the next game on our schedule and we are going out there to win it. I don't care about the playoffs right now. Our team has never beaten Billings and I want to end that string. Our coaches and players are all on that same page right now."

The Rage (6-7) will be looking to end their regular season at .500. However, Billings is still fighting for home field in the Western Division playoffs. The Outlaws (9-4) come in to play as the most prolific offensive team in the UIF. Billings ranks first in the league in points per game (52.3) and total offense per game (279.2 yards). They are led, once again, by their quarterback, Chris Dixon. The dual threat leads the league in passing (209.1 yards), total offense (237.1), and touchdown passes (60). He is also in the league's top ten in rushing yards per game with 28.

"I haven't seen him in person, yet," said Stills. "On film he does it all. I believe the biggest reason for his success this year is he has stopped relying on his legs so much. He sits back and waits for his teammates to get open and he always finds them. He can still beat you with his legs if need be, but he realizes he doesn't need to take that chance. The best player I've seen this season is still [Bloomington Extreme quarterback] Dusty Burk. However, from what I've seen on film, Dixon is in the conversation. We have to contain him if we want to win this game."

The Rage will be a home next Saturday, June 21st as they host the Sioux City Bandits in round one of the UIF playoffs. Tickets are available right now and the prices could not be better. Front Row seats $10, Lower Level for $8 and Upper Level for just $5. Order yours today by calling (636) 896.4285 or visit ragefootball.com.
