Rocky Mountain Rage News Release

Broomfield, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Rage activated forward Chip Dunleavy from 45-day injured reserve and defenseman Kyle Kos from 14-day injured reserve today. Both players are expected to play tonight when the Rage take the ice against the Arizona Sundogs in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

After making the Rocky Mountain roster out of training camp, Dunleavy suffered an injury during the team's final pre-season tune-up and missed the season's first 18 games after undergoing surgery. The rookie forward grew up in Littleton playing his youth hockey at South Suburban Ice Arena and turned pro after spending four years at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Kos was injured on Nov. 24 against the Colorado Eagles and missed a total of five games.

The Rage also placed defenseman Preston Briggs on 45-day injured reserve today retroactive to Dec. 6.

Following tonight's tilt against the Sundogs, Rocky Mountain travels to face the New Mexico Scorpions tomorrow before returning to Broomfield Event Center on Dec. 13 to host the Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:05 p.m.

The live play-by-play action from tonight's game can be heard on Z560, Colorado's ESPN, beginning with the pre-game show at 6:50 p.m., while tomorrow's action will be aired on Z560's sister station, AM 810 KLDC, also beginning at 6:50 p.m. Both broadcasts will be simulcast online at www.RockyMountainRage.com.
