Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Bees (10-7-1, 21 pts.) face off against the Corpus Christi Rayz (8-9-4, 20 pts) for the third time in a week. The teams entered this week with just one point separating them and four points separating first place from fourth place. With divisional play a key element of the December schedule, no standings position is safe for any length of time. The Bees enter tonight's game three points behind first place Laredo, and one point ahead of both Corpus and Austin. Rio went 3-1 last week and are coming off a 1-0 loss at Austin. The Rayz are trying to snap an 0-3-2 skid and last played at Laredo on Wednesday. They fell 2-1 in overtime.
