Tulsa Oilers News Release
The Tulsa Oilers are encouraging fans to act quickly when it comes to redeeming vouchers for QuikTrip Tuesdays. This season the Oilers have entered into a partnership with QuikTrip that provides fans the opportunity to get vouchers good for free tickets to any Tuesday night home game. The success of the promotion had thousands of fans lined up at the Convention Center box office prior to the Oilers game against Fort Worth on Tuesday December 27th. The large crowd necessitated a slight delay in the start time of the game. "Our fans were patient and understanding of the situation and we appreciate that," Oilers general manager Corey MacIntyre said. "We want to let them know, and encourage them to redeem their vouchers early. They don't have to wait until game time." Fans can exchange their vouchers from QuikTrip at the Oilers administrative office (located in the Spirit Bank building on 46th Street between Memorial and Mingo), or at the Tulsa Convention Center prior to any Tuesday night game. That will help fans avoid the long lines experienced on Tuesday night. The remaining Oiler QuikTrip Tuesday night games are January 31 (Corpus Christi); February 21 (Oklahoma City) and March 14 (Colorado). Tuesday night games start at 7 o'clock. The Oilers host the Memphis RiverKings on Friday December 30th at 7:35 p.m. Oilers ticket information is available by calling the Oilers office at (918) 632-7825.
