Fort Worth Brahmas News Release
Tulsa, Oklahoma - Four different Brahmas players--Mike O'Sullivan, Matt Reynolds, Wes Mason and Cory Stillman--scored goals and Brahmas netminder Chris Davidson stopped 32 of the 34 Tulsa shots he faced to lead Fort Worth to a 4-2 win over the Tulsa Oilers on Tuesday night at the Tulsa Convention Center.
O'Sullivan and Reynolds scored in the first period for Fort Worth, Mason in the second, and Stillman in the third in what was a balanced Brahmas offensive attack. Davidson did his part in net for Fort Worth, allowing just the two Tulsa goals (from Henry Kuster and Marek Dora).
The win for the Brahmas, their first on the road since November 5, snaps an eight-game winless streak for Fort Worth. The victory was also the first for the Brahmas under new head coach Guy Larose. Fort Worth is now 9-15-3 on the season. The loss for the Oilers drops Tulsa's record to 12-12-2 for the year.
Fort Worth will look for two wins in a row on Wednesday night, December 28, when they host the Colorado Eagles at 7:30 p.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
