The Knights (5-8-1, 11pts.) look to break their four game losing skid Saturday night against the Jamestown Rebels (6-6-1, 13pts.) on the road at Northwest Arena.

About Last Night...

Sacha Guillemain scored what proved to be the lone goal for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in a 4-1 loss to the Rebels Friday night. The goal tied things at one before Jamestown's Yuri Davis-Martel scored the go ahead marker with less than a minute left in the first period. Jamestown added two more in the second and scored a pair of power play goals on Knights' goalie Zach Stejskal to pick up the win.

Head Coach Tom Kowal said it best earlier in the week when speaking about the Knights' performance as of late: "If you don't score goals, you're not going to win hockey games."

After Friday's loss, Wilkes-Barre has now scored just once in each of their last three contests. Their 29 goals across 14 games seats them second from the bottom in the North American Hockey League in terms of goals for on the year, averaging just 2.07 per game.

Sacha Streak

In a time where things have not looked good for the grey and blue, Sacha Guillemain has quietly put together a four game point streak (1G-4A). His goal came in Friday's game, which was the first Guillemain skated in since October 13th. His response to sitting out was coming in and scoring against Jamestown. Forward Adrain Danchenko had an assist on that goal as well. If those two can get together and be hot at the same time, then Wilkes-Barre/Scranton could see their scoring outage put to a halt sooner rather than later.

For What It's Worth

Game 15 of the season marks the end of the first quarter in the 2018-19 campaign. At that point last year, the Knights were 9-3-3, starting a year that eventually brought them to the Robertson Cup.

The only other time Wilkes-Barre played on October 27th was back in 2016 where the club beat the Northeast Generals, 3-2. Sam Antonitsch broke a 2-2 tie with under a minute to play in regulation, propelling the Knights to victory.

The Knights have gone 0-3 in the second meeting against the Rebels' organization each year.

Should the Knights win, Coach Kowal would be behind the bench for his 88th regular season win as Wilkes-Barre's bench boss.
