Quakes to Hold Military Appreciation Day at The Epicenter

Rancho Cucamonga, CA- The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are excited to announce that they will be having a Military Appreciation Day at The Epicenter on Sunday, July 22nd. July 22nd's game is a 5:05 PM contest against the Modesto Nuts, the California League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

The Quakes have a number of things in store to honor those who have served or are presently serving our country and defending our freedom. ALL active and retired Military personnel will be admitted FREE on the 22nd by presenting your ID at the ticket office for a complimentary club seat. In addition, accompanying family members (with military dependent card) may join Military personnel for a reduced ticket price of $5.

The Quakes have partnered with local Military-based organizations to have a Military vehicle display outside the ballpark on that day. The Quakes will also recognize Military personnel in a pre-game on-field ceremony, and by wearing special camouflage uniform tops that will be auctioned off via silent auction during the game. A portion of the jersey auction proceeds will benefit the Ontario USO Chapter.

Quakes fans are encouraged to bring clothing to donate to the wounded of the 28th combat support Hospital Iraq.

In addition, Sunday, July 22nd's game features a Quakes Cap Stone giveaway presented by Nestle. The Cap Stone, to be distributed to the first 1,500 fans, is a special momento of Quakes baseball and would make a solid addition to any baseball fan's mantle.

The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are the Advanced-A California League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and return home July 17th against the Inland Empire 66ers. Purchase tickets by calling the box office at (909) 481-5252.
