Visalia, CA - Rawhide fall to the Quakes 5-3 in game one Tuesday night. Casey Anderson, the Rawhide starter, took the loss in his first start with the Rawhide. He allowed four runs (three earned) off four hits and one walk.
Jacob Steinmetz had one of his best appearances of his career. The 20-year-old right-hander threw six scoreless innings while striking out seven Quakes batters.
The Rawhide had the opportunity to tie the game in the eighth inning, but Alvin Guzman was caught stealing to end the inning with runners on the corner.
Rawhide look to bounce back tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at Valley Strong Ballpark.
