September 10, 2010 - California League (CalL1)
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes News Release
After last night's convincing 7-1 win over the High Desert Mavericks to sweep the opening round off the Cal League Playoffs, your Rancho Cucamonga Quakes will match up with the Lake Elsinore Storm in the best-of-five South Division Finals. Games one and two will take place in Lake Elsinore this weekend, with the Quakes returning home to host game three on Monday and then game four on Tuesday, if necessary. Should the series go five full games, the Storm would host that fifth game on Wednesday night at The Diamond.
Join us on Monday night at The Epicenter and help root on the Quakes to their first Cal League Title since 1994 and just their second championship in franchise history. Monday night will feature $1 Hot Dogs throughout the night, thanks to AM 1510 The SPA. Gates open at 6:05pm and game time is 7:05pm on Monday evening.
Tickets are on sale right now for Quakes' Playofff action, by calling (909) 481-5000 or online at rcquakes.com. The Ticket Office at The Epicenter will be open Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm through the continuation of the playoffs.
Game one will feature Garrett Richards (4-1, 3.89 ERA) taking on Lake Elsinore righthander Chris Young, who'll be making a major league rehab assignment for the San Diego Padres. Game time from Lake Elsinore on Saturday night is 7:05pm. Keep in mind that all games can be heard live on AM 1510 The SPA, as well as online at rcquakes.com.
