The Quad City Steamwheelers, defending Champions of the IFL's Eastern Conference, have re-signed hometown standout wide receiver Keyvan "STUD" Rudd.

In 2022, Rudd finished the season ranked 4th in yards-per-reception (14.4) and 6th in receiving yards (748).

Director of Player Personnel Ryan Michael told SteamwheelersFootball.com: "Keyvan is a tremendous athlete capable of taking it to the house at the drop of a dime. His ability to tune out pressure, create separation, leap over defenders and catch passes in traffic makes him a difficult player to account for. Look no further than the Hail Mary he hauled in to help us win the Eastern Conference Championship game last Summer. I can't wait to see what he brings to camp this offseason."

In 2019, Rudd was named a First Team All-IFL selection. In college at MSU from 2011-2014, he caught 37 passes for 525 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Rudd will join a talented receiving corps that includes teammates Mike Carrigan, Jarrod Harrington, C.J. Windham, Isaiah Grice, Londell Lee, John Brunner, Damien King and John Williams.

"Great to get Keyvan back as he's battle tested. He is also a home grown kid that loves his community. On the field he made some great plays at the right time in some big games last season. This concludes a very competitive receiver group headed into camp and we can't wait to get started!" said Steamwheelers Head Coach Cory Ross.
