The Quad City Steamwheelers, defending Champions of the IFL's Eastern Conference, have re-signed defensive back Tajik Bagley.

"He gained a ton of experience last season. He's a really good cover corner and can be aggressive too. We are excited to see his growth in his 2nd year!" said Steamwheelers Head Coach Cory Ross.

Last season, Bagley was a key contributor to the Steamwheelers secondary, notching 10 tackles in the postseason as the team made their run to the IFL National Championship game.

Director of Player Personnel Ryan Michael told SteamwheelersFootball.com "Tajik is a tremendous athlete. He's quick, agile and has a great sense of awareness on the field. His ability to make plays in crucial moments was a key part of our success on the defensive side of the football."

Bagley finished the 2022 season with 72 tackles (40 solo) and 2 interceptions.

With this signing, the Wheelers have locked down another foundational piece to their secondary, having also signed Albert Green IV, Jadarius Byrd and Michael Johnson.
