
Quad City Steamwheelers Change Game Time

Quad City Steamwheelers News Release
June 12, 2007, (Moline, Ill.) - The Quad City Steamwheelers game on Friday, June 22, against currently undefeated Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has been changed to 6:30 p.m. CDT. The game has been moved back through a partnership with Taste of the Quad Cities to accommodate an outdoor firework show.
"What better way to kick off the weekend than to attend both the Steamwheelers game and Taste of the Quad Cities," says Mike Bawden, the Managing Partner of the Quad City Steamwheelers.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are currently 9-0 and the only remaining undefeated team in the arenafootball2 league. Rich Ingold, the former âWheelers head coach from 2002-2004, is currently the Head Coach for the Pioneers. With the âWheelers, Ingold went 34-14, including a 14-2 season in 2004. Ingold will return with former âWheelers DeOnte Taylor and Mike Novak.
