WINNIPEG, MB â Purolator, Winnipeg Harvest and the Blue Bombers would like to thank their fans for their support this past season.
This past season fans donated the equivalent of 123,000 lbs at the gate. This is double of what was donated last season. Of the 123,000 lbs, 60,000 lbs was collected at the "Purolator Tackle Hunger Game Day" July 8, 2004 game against Saskatchewan.
In addition every time a quarterback was sacked this season Purolator Tackle Hunger donated the quarterback's weight in food in that player's city. The total from all CFL quarterback sacks this season was 65,515 lbs.
