Peterborough, ON - On Tuesday, March 5, the Peterborough Petes hosted the Barrie Colts at the PMC for the first and only time this season. The Colts won the game in overtime by a score of 5-4.
The Petes wore their Real Canadian Superstore #CHLJerseyContest winning jersey design during the game. The jerseys were designed by Hana Bates-Keegan, who took part in the pre-game ceremonial puck drop. The game jerseys are being auctioned off with all proceeds going towards President's Choice Children's Charity. Fans can bid on the jerseys now.
Tommy Purdeller led the way for the Petes with a goal and an assist, while Ryder McIntyre stayed hot picking up two assists. Caden Taylor scored his fifth goal in six games, as Jonathan Melee and Braydon McCallum rounded out the scoring with a goal each. Aiden Young, Grayden Strohack, and Carson Cameron each had an assist in the game. Zach Bowen stopped 36/41 in the loss.
