Pulaski Beats the Rays

The Princeton Rays did not get on the board tonight as Pulaski won 6-0. Pulaski scored one run in the 2nd, three runs in the 3rd, one run in the 4th, and sealed the deal with a run in the 6th. Adonis Rosa is credited with the win and Deivy Mendez with the loss for the Rays.

Princeton dropped to third in the Appalachian League East standings at 9-7. They are behind the Burlington Royals (10-6), who are first, and the Pulaski Yankees (10-7), who are second.

Pulaski did all of the scoring in this game. In the top of the 2nd, Austin Afenir scored off of a sacrifice fly by Jesus Aparicio. The Yankees scored three in the 3rd, as Carlos Vidal was the first to make it home off of a sacrifice fly by Afenir. Hoy Jun Park scored from a single by Nathan Mikolas. Mikolas then made it home off of a single by Kendall Coleman. In the 4th, Kane Sweeney began the inning with a home run. Pulaski was not done yet and scored one more run in the 6th. Vidal hit a homer to finish off a night of scoring for the Yankees.
