The Watertown Wolves are now in a 8-game skid after falling to the Port Huron Prowlers Friday night at the Watertown Municipal Arena.
The Wolves successfully killed the lone penalty of the first period, a hooking call on Bryan Parsons. Port Huron drew first blood late in the period with a goal from Dalton Jay via Matt Robertson.
Port Huron dominated the second period scoring three additional goals. Prowlers net-minder Cory Simons continued to keep the puck out of his goal and denying the Wolves any goals in the second period.
Matt Robertson topped off the night for the Prowlers scoring the fifth goal of the night seven-and-a-half minutes into the third period.
First star of the game went to Cory Simons for his shutout in goal. Artur Drindrozhik and Matyas Kasek earned second and third stars respectively.
The Wolves will wrap up their weekend series with the Port Huron Prowlers Saturday, February 2nd at 7:30 pm in the Watertown Municipal Arena.
