Calgary, AB - Colorado Mammoth captain Gavin Prout's one-game suspension has been overturned on appeal. Prout is eligible to play in the Mammoth's West Division semifinal playoff game vs. the Calgary Roughnecks this Saturday night at the Pepsi Center.

The National Lacrosse League had suspended Prout for leaving the bench during an altercation during the Roughnecks 17-7 lose over the Mammoth last Saturday night.

"On a positive note, at least Colorado will be at full strength this weekend and we want it no other way. In the playoffs, teams should be able to play their top line-ups and now that is what is going to take place, stated Roughnecks General Manger Kurt Silcott. "I expect to see a top-notch quality lacrosse game between two great teams."

The Professional Lacrosse Players Association appealed the suspension and arbitrator Ramona Gallagher today upheld the appeal and rescinded the suspension. Upon review of the evidence, Gallagher found that Prout did not leave the bench during an altercation and therefore a suspension was not warranted.
