Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - Colorado Mammoth captain Gavin Prout's one-game suspension has been overturned on appeal. Prout is eligible to play in the Mammoth's West Division semifinal playoff game this Saturday night at Pepsi Center.
The National Lacrosse League had suspended Prout for leaving the bench during an altercation during the Mammoth's 17-7 victory over the Calgary Roughnecks last Saturday night in Calgary.
The Professional Lacrosse Players Association appealed the suspension and arbitrator Ramona Gallagher today upheld the appeal and rescinded the suspension. Upon review of the evidence, Gallagher found that Prout did not leave the bench during an altercation and therefore a suspension was not warranted.
