LA Galaxy News Release
LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park will follow and enforce Los Angeles County's new protocol for Outdoor Mega Events, which will require proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a pre-entry negative COVID-19 test result for fans 12 and older at events at Galaxy home matches beginning Saturday, Oct. 16 when the club plays host to the Portland Timbers (7:30 p.m. PT; Spectrum SportsNet).
The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health's order requires all guests ages 12 and over at Dignity Health Sports Park events to provide ONE of the following in order to be admitted to the stadium:
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (with matching photo ID for guests 18 and over) OR
Negative COVID-19 viral test results within 72 hours of event start time (with matching photo ID for guests 18 and over)
Guests under the age of 12 are not yet permitted to be vaccinated and are not required to provide a negative COVID-19 test but, in compliance with California's policy of Outdoor Mega Events, all guests at Dignity Health Sports Park will be required to wear a face mask except while actively eating or drinking.
These requirements went into effect at Dignity Health Sports Park on Thursday, Oct. 7 and will remain in effect until further notice.
Additionally, Dignity Health Sports Park will offer on-site testing services at Lot 10 to fans who do not provide proof of vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test results at the gate.
Acceptable forms of COVID-19 vaccination proof are a CDC vaccination card, a photocopy of the card or a photo of the card on a mobile device. Acceptable forms of negative test results are printed documents from the test provider/laboratory or an email or text message from the test provider/laboratory displayed on a mobile device. Self-attestation is not a permitted method for verification of vaccination or test result.
Due to the available vaccination and testing options, refunds for tickets and parking will not be offered. Guests who are unable or unwilling to meet any of the above requirements have the option of transferring or reselling their tickets and parking passes.
