Probst to join 'castaways' headed to Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WI (March 16, 2006) - Jeff Probst, host of television's Survivor has been added to the star-studded group to be in Milwaukee for the Reality All-Stars Soccer Festival this weekend. Probst will appear at Saturday night's charity dinner at Miller Brewing Company's Fred's Pub, Sunday's Wave game (1:05 p.m. kickoff) and the post-game featuring Wave legends and Reality All-Stars following the Wave contest

Probst, an Emmy Award-winning host who has also hosted VH1's Rock and Roll Jeopardy, will join Ethan Zohn, Jenna Morasca and many other "castaways" in supporting Zohn's Grassroot Soccer charity. Many of the events surrounding Wave games on Friday and Sunday will feature the stars and benefit Grassroot Soccer. Grassroot Soccer teams soccer stars to deliver AIDS prevention messages to children in the world's most HIV affected countries.

Tickets are still available for weekend events, including Friday night's game against the Chicago Storm (7:05 p.m.) which will feature a green jersey auction for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Saturday night will feature a charity dinner at Miller Brewing Company's Fred's Pub catered by Saz's. The weekend will wrap up with a double-header on Sunday. The Wave will take on the Philadelphia KiXX at 1:05 p.m. and following the contest the Reality All-Stars and Wave legends will take the field.

The Milwaukee Wave was established in 1984 as one of six charter members of the American Indoor Soccer Association (AISA). In 2001, the Wave transitioned to being a successful member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). Through the guidance of head coach Keith Tozer, the winningest coach in Wave and North American indoor soccer history, the Wave has won four league titles (1997-98, 1999-00, 2000-01, 2004-05), seven regular season championships, and has made seven championship series appearances.
