Milwaukee Wave News Release

MILWAUKEE, WI (March 16, 2006) - Victor Nogueira, goalkeeper for three Milwaukee Wave championship squads, returns to Milwaukee this weekend to take part in the Reality All-Stars Soccer Festival. Nogueira will attend Friday and Sunday's Wave games and participate in many events scheduled for this weekend.

The Reality All-Stars Soccer Festival, presented by the Milwaukee Wave, Miller Brewing Company, Saz's and CBS 58, has many events surrounding the Wave's Friday night game against the Chicago Storm (7:00 p.m.) and Sunday's contest against the Philadelphia KiXX (1:00 p.m.). Proceeds from the weekend will benefit Ethan Zohn's (Survivor Africa winner) Grassroot Soccer charity. Grassroot Soccer teams soccer stars to deliver AIDS prevention messages to children in the world's most HIV affected countries.

Zohn and Nogueira, a two-time MVP and nine-time goalkeeper of the year, will take part in a special charity event following Friday's match. After the game, with a donation to Grassroot Soccer, fans will have the opportunity to take the field and try to send a shot past one of the goalkeepers (limited space - first come first served). Participants will keep the ball they took the shot with and have it autographed by both Nogueira and Zohn.

The stars will be on the field again on Sunday when they play in the Wave legends and Reality All-Stars game following Milwaukee's contest against Philadelphia. Wave legends scheduled to take part are: Keith Tozer, Dan Green, Pete Knezic, Art Kramer, Mark Litton, Steve Morris, David Moxom, Nogueira and Pat White. Special guests include Amos McGee and Leslie Osborne. In addition to Zohn, "castaways" scheduled to appear are: Jenna Morasca, Tom "Big Tom" Buchanan, Chad Crittenden, Chris Daugherty, Rudy Boesch, Bobby Jon Drinkard, Ian Rosenberger, Leann Slaby, Lex van den Berghe, Julie Barry, Jennifer Lyon and Tina Wesson.
