Probherbs Rejoins Destroyers Lineup; Olive To IR

(BUFFALO, NY)- The Buffalo Destroyers announced today WR/DB Hassan Probherbs was signed to the 24 man roster while WR/LB Bobby Olive was placed on injured reserve.
Olive, who rejoined the Destroyers earlier this month, broke his collarbone in the first half of the Destroyers 52-45 win against New Jersey on Sunday. Olive played in three games, all Destroyers victories, catching seven passes for 99 yards.
Probherbs will return to the Destroyers lineup after playing his rookie campaign with the Fleet in 2001. Probherbs appeared in nine games last season and had 18 receptions for 261 yards and four touchdowns. He registered 21 tackles, a pass defense and a fumble recovery as well. He was released by the Destroyers in the off-season. He signed with the Georgia Force seeing action in two games with three receptions for eight yards and 6.5 tackles. The Destroyers signed him to the practice squad June 5.
The Fleet also announced they have re-signed WR/DB Teddy McDuffie and OL/DL Joe Rumolo to the practice squad. McDuffie was originally signed to the practice squad April 16 and was cut on June 5. Rumolo spent some time on the Destroyers practice squad from April 16 to April 27.
