
AFL Goes Live to the Internet

NEW YORKâ June 27, 2002 â"Live Stats" will be available on the internet via the league's official Web site, www.arenafootball.com, during the June 29 game between the Indiana Firebirds and the defending champion Grand Rapids Rampage at 8:00 p.m. ET the Arena Football League announced today.
With the assistance of the AFL Stats Bureau and Stat Crew Software, Inc., based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the AFL's "Live Stats" will allow fans to follow the game live from anywhere in the world via the internet. Available features include: automatic update of game stats, a play-by-play narrative summary, auto-refresh on the internet of "live" Web stats, and complete up-to-the-minute individual and team statistics.
