Privateers Home Friday
November 2, 2011 - Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL)
Watertown Privateers News Release
The 1000 Islands Privateers second season home opener is this Friday, November 4th at 7:05pm against the Vermont Wild. The puck will drop at the Bonnie Castle Rec Center just off I-81 at the Thousand Islands Bridge. There will be contests, prizes, family friendly fun and of course great hockey!
The Privateers return for their home opener from a successful road trip to Illinois where they defeated the Danville Dashers handily in two season opening road games. Coach Marc Lefebvre looks to his new lineup to provide the same high output they showed on the road for the home fans. With a core of returning players augmented with fresh new talent, the Privateers hope to build on the road momentum from the Danville trip in the FHL North.
