Jackson Generals News Release
Jackson, Tenn.--- There will be much more going on than baseball when the Diamond Jaxx return to Pringles Park on Friday, July 4th. Immediately following the 7:05pm (CST) contest between the Diamond Jaxx and the Montgomery Biscuits will be the Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza brought to us by WBBJ. There are no other fireworks shows in West Tennessee like the one at Pringles Park and no other show period in Madison County on July 4th.
In honor of Independence Day, the Diamond Jaxx will be wearing red, white and blue jerseys. The commemorative jersey tops are part of the Elks Lodge American Flag Jersey Auction with the proceeds benefiting the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Fans will be able to place bids on their favorite player's game-worn jersey during Friday and Saturday night's game. Bidding will come to a close during the 7th inning stretch on Saturday.
Rally, one of the most entertaining acts in Minor League Baseball, will also be at Pringles Park for the game on Friday. Entering his 5th season of entertaining crowds, Rally travels across the country specializing in high energy stunts and skits during the entire ball game.
Jackson Energy Authority "Kids Run the Bases" will follow the fireworks and Coke will be handing out free samples of Vault as fans exit Pringles Park after the game.
Tickets are still available for this homestand. For more information please call (731) 988-5299 or visit us on the web at www.diamondjaxx.com.
