Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest to Visit San Angelo for All-Star Game on July 15

SAN ANGELO, Texas - For the second season in a row, the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest, which is the most extensive traveling baseball festival in history, is coming to Foster Field. This year, it will be extra special as the Fun Fest will be in San Angelo for the first ever United League vs. Golden League All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15.
Created and produced by Entertainment and Sports International (ESI), the 4000-square foot Fun Fest will be set up just outside the main gate of Foster Field and will begin three hours before the All-Star game, at approximately 4:00 p.m. CT. ESI's Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest is a completely free celebration of baseball that visits minor league stadiums all across the country and it is currently in its 5th season.
"The Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest is a big part of our All-Star festivities," said Colts GM Mike Babcock. "It will do a great deal to enhance the fans' experience during what is already a special day with the Golden League All-Stars playing our United League All-Stars for the first time."
The Fun Fest features more than 20 baseball-themed attractions, including:
A minor league baseball museum The Xbox 360 Best Buy Home Run Derby video game trailer Batting cages and pitching cages Bungee runs A huge side-by-side super slide Baseball bounce houses And more interactive fun for baseball fans of all ages
This year, Days Inn is bringing a baseball card attraction where fans can step up to the plate and have their picture taken on their very own baseball card! There's even an exhibit where fans can put themselves on a free souvenir cover of Sports Illustrated Kids Magazine.
Plus, fans who donate new or used baseball equipment to "Pitch In For Baseball" will receive a coupon for Xbox 360 software at Best Buy and a special ticket offer from the Colts. To learn more about the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest, go to www.principal.com/funfest.
