November 6, 2006 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Halifax Mooseheads head coach Cam Russell announced today that 19-year-old forward Colby Pridham will be the team's third Assistant Captain.
Pridham, who has been wearing the "A" on an interim basis, will now have it permanently attached to his number 79 jersey. Currently, Pridham is second on the team scoring list with 22 points, eight goals and 14 assists, with a plus six rating after 20 games.
"We had looked at a number of players who we felt had the leadership qualities to be good assistant captains," Russell said. "Colby rose above the others with his dedication and consistency, while still exhibiting the type of leadership we look for in our captains and assistants."
