
Pride to be dunked for charity

FLORENCE, SC â The Pee Dee Pride announced today that the team will take part in the Easter Seals Buck-A-Cup fund-raiser on Sunday at the Wal Mart Super Center on South Irby Street. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Pride players and staff members will take part in a dunking booth to help raise money for the Easter Seals. Veteran left wing Allan Sirois starts the day off, appearing in the dunking booth from 2:00-3:00. Right wing Craig Brunel takes over from 3:00-4:00. From 4:00-5:00, Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik will take a turn, followed by Equipment Manager Dennis Soetaert from 5:00-6:00. Pride Head Coach Perry Florio wraps up the day from 6:00-7:00.
In addition to the dunking booth, there will also be an antique car show, with the winner announced between 5:00-6:30 p.m. There is a $25 entry fee for the car show.
