ST. CATHARINES, ON, CAN - Coming off of three victories in the row, the Saginaw Spirit will try their luck on the road this coming weekend, with a three game in four night journey.

Thursday night, the Spirit battle the Niagara Ice Dogs (15-11-2-0, 3rd Central Division) at the Meridian Centre is St. Catharines, Ontario. The puck drops at 7:00. The Ice Dogs have won three of their last four contests coming into action tonight. On December 5th, the Ice Dogs made the first blockbuster trade of the 2015-16 OHL season, acquiring goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic (CAR) and defenseman Josh Wesley (CAR) from the Flint Firebirds. Nedeljkovic and Wesley will be making their home debut tonight versus the Spirit.

The Spirit are back to their winning ways of late, picking three wins in a row against divisional opponents Windsor and Flint, and knocking off North Bay last Saturday night. The Spirit will be without the services of Mitchell Stephens once again, who has gone to Team Canada's World Junior Selection Camp. In his two games since returning from a broken foot, Stephens had two goals and three assists including the game-winning goal on Saturday night against North Bay.
